And then it snuck back in...

How quickly things change.  In the blink of an eye, it is once again white and snowy.  The only remaining color in our forest is that of the evergreen, standing proudly with its sharpened, scented needles as the steward of a winter's season.

  1. Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog recently. I just love the pictures on your blog - you really have an eye for capturing a scene. The black and white view outside your kitchen window is just stunning.

I wanted to let you know that 2 acres is plenty for some sheep. I have 5.5 acres and 24 sheep. That is probably pushing it. You could very easily have 2-5 sheep, especially a smaller breed like Shetlands, Jacobs or Baby Doll Southdowns. It would take some supplemental feeding in winter, but they don't really eat that much. I never knew how much I would love having sheep, and now I think everybody should have them! ;-)

  2. Claire, thanks--I just noticed I had a comment on my blog! I think you are my first.

I don't mind feeding in the winter at all--and really, I'd just like a few sheep. Its good to hear that 2 acres would be plenty for a very small flock. Thanks for visiting :) Oh, and thanks for the comment on the photos!
